Half Marathon

The iconic and popular annual Lochmara Lodge Half Marathon takes in the stunning natural scenery of the Marlborough Sounds while providing a challenging and unique run/walk course.

Starting at Anakiwa near Picton, the course follows the world-famous Queen Charlotte Track before ending at beautiful Lochmara Lodge for the prizegiving. From there, competitors enjoy a scenic boat ride back to Picton – unless they choose to stay in paradise.

Marlborough Events is contracted by half marathon founder Yarrell Events  to manage the Lochmara Lodge Half Marathon’s website, marketing and to provide general event assistance on race day.
